What is Micro blading?
Microblading is a form of tattooing, where pigment is implanted under the skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair-like strokes are drawn on with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows.
Is it painful?
Pain is relative. Some may feel it more than others. Overall it feels like little scratches. Topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize any discomfort.
How long does it take?
It can take anywhere between 1.5-2.5 hours. Every brow we create for our patient is personalized. We interview you to get a sense of your makeup routine and lifestyle. Do you draw on brows every day or just special occasions? Do you like dramatic brows that get attention or do you prefer a more subtle look? We can do any and all of that and anywhere in between. The interview helps us determine what’s right for you.
How long does it last?
Results last up to 2 years, depending skin and lifestyle patients may need to come back for touch ups.
Aftercare is essential!
You want to protect your freshly bladed brows from all moisture–no sweaty workouts or washing your face with water. Some patients experience itching and redness during the first week. Brows will look slightly darker first, but the color will fade 30 to 40 percent. Slight redness and mild swelling is normal but overall they look great right away.
